Five-Day Registration Period for WEB Qualifiers

WEB Qualifiers for the 2024 Boston Marathon can register for the race during a five-day period from September 11 to September 15, 2023. This registration window is specifically for runners who have met the required qualifying times within the designated qualifying period.
The qualifying period for the 2024 Boston Marathon began on September 1, 2021, and will end on September 15, 2023. To qualify, runners must have run a marathon within the qualifying time corresponding to their age and gender. The qualifying times are published on the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) website.
Runners who qualify through the WEB method (World Eligible Best) must meet additional criteria, such as having run a qualifying time at a World Athletics Gold Label Road Race. The qualifying times for WEB Qualifiers are typically faster than the regular qualifying times.
In 2023, the unofficial cut-off times for acceptance in the Boston Marathon were five minutes and 29 seconds over the qualifying standard for both men and women. However, these cut-off times may vary from year to year depending on the number of qualified runners.
To register for the 2024 Boston Marathon as a WEB Qualifier, runners must submit their qualifying time and supporting documentation to the BAA during the registration period. Runners who are successful in registering will be notified by email.
